| Purpose: is to improve
keyboarding skills, introduce students to Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Course Description: Projects integrating all office applications are incorporated. Aspects of computer hardware, networks, living online, and electronic communication are covered. In addition, the complications and implications of living in a technology rich society are investigated. Students will prepare for IC3 Certification tests: Living Online, Computing Fundamentals, and Computer Applications. Expectations: As an advanced course, students are expected to complete projects on time, practice and use the touch typing technique, read assigned articles and provide a written response, and learn to think creatively and critically to solve problems . |
